Alicia Keys, Cyndi Lauper, Lady Gaga And More Celebrate Stonewall 50 At NYC Pride
Alicia Keys, Cyndi Lauper, Lady Gaga and more came out to help honor Stonewall 50 years celebration at New York City’s Pride Day.
Pride Live’s Stonewall Day Concert was a big event to honor the historic Stonewall Inn riots where gay and lesbians fought back against police raids. Both Keys and Lady Gaga took the stage to express how honored they were to be part of such a fantastic event.
Lady Gaga gave an emotional speech about the community. It was powerful but did not make as much of a statement as her outfit that oozed her Pride love.
She rocked short denim shorts with a tiny strapless black bandeau, and a Versace rainbow striped cropped denim jacket. The A Star Is Born actress competed her Pride look with a pair of over-the-knee rainbow striped platform boots that had fans drooling.

Keys also took the stage and was dressed to impress as well. The singer belted out the hit 80’s tune, ‘True Colors’ by the legendary Cyndi Lauper to end her enlightening performance. Keys sported a white painter’s jumpsuit that featured show me love spelled out in rainbow colors on was plastered on the back.
Although Keys and Lady Gaga were undoubtedly the main attractions at the concert, it was also filled with a slew of other celebrities that took the stage to honor the Stonewall Inn’s 50th anniversary.
Big Brother alum Frankie Grande, yes Ariana Grande’s older brother, was on hand decked out in rainbow colors from head to toe. A very pregnant Chelsea Clinton was also there to give a powerful speech about the history of Stonewall Inn.

Donatella Versace took the stage to declare her unwavering support for the LBGTQ community, including how far the community has come and how much there is still left to do in terms of rights. She looked gorgeous in white pants and a white shirt with rainbow flags on it.
Whoopi Goldberg, Andy Cohen, Christian Siriano, and Cyndi Lauper were all on hand in the VIP section to conduct interviews and share the vital meaning of Stonewall 50. It was an emotional concert for all, but one filled with joy, pride, as well as the committment to continue the fight.

New York City hosted World Pride month this year. Celebrities have come out in droves to show their support but the Stonewall anniversary held a special place in the heart of many faces, famous and not.
