Dorian Electra ascends in 'Adam & Steve' music video
For latest single ‘Adam & Steve’, Dorian Electra re-interprets the creation story before ascending into a eutopia of their own.
The new single from Electra’s bold and playful debut album Flamboyant, released earlier this year, the track follows ‘Career Boy’, ‘Man To Man‘ and ‘Flamboyant’ to get the pop pioneer’s visual treatment.
Teaming up with trusted collaborators Weston Allen and Mood Killer once again, the ‘Adam & Steve’ music video premiered on Halloween and sees Electra pair religious visuals with tongue-in-cheek lyrics in a thought-provoking three minutes. Falling from grace before sprouting wings to return to their own heaven of electric guitar leads and angelic pole dancers, it’s the ‘Flamboyant’ singer’s trademark playful electropop which packs a punch.

The ‘Adam & Steve’ music video comes ahead of a busy month of live shows for Dorian Electra, who has just returned from a lengthy headline USA tour. A sold-out slot at London’s Village Underground on November 20th marks the singer’s biggest career show to date, coming after a stint on Charli XCX’s European tour stopping off at the likes of Stockholm, Berlin, Milan and Amsterdam.
A return to London later this month follows August’s sold-out shows at London’s Thousand Island, which CelebMix caught. All in support of 2019’s debut Flamboyant, check out CelebMix’s review of the record here.
