Real Madrid joins forces with Adidas and Marvel to introduce fans' superhero day
Real Madrid and Adidas have signed an agreement with Marvel to create a limited edition collection dedicated to the American company's superheroes with Los Blancos' own stamp.
The new clothing line features some of the most iconic superheroes of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) such as Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow, Thor or Black Panther.
Los Blancos will don the new Avengers collection during the pre-match training sessions for both the basketball and football teams.
The basketball team will wear the full range at official matches and training sessions. The Real Madrid men's football team will display the Captain America jersey during warm-ups and the Avengers hoodie at the home game against Girona on October 30. Meanwhile, the women's football team will do the same when they play Sevilla on the same day.
Under the title 'Heroes Among Us', Real Madrid basketball players Sergio Llull, Edy Tavares, Fabien Causeur, Guerschon Yabusele and Anthony Randolph and first-team football players Toni Kroos, Marco Asensio, Ivana Andres and Teresa Abelleira will star in the Avengers launch campaign.
This will be the first collaboration with Avengers and the first Adidas themed collection in the club's history. The basketball team already teamed up with the Star Wars force in May 2021.
Adidas has created six items starring Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow and Black Panther.
