Review: Justin Bieber - Purpose World Tour hits Salt Lake City, Utah
Arguably one of the most popular artists in the industry, Justin Bieber has upped his career and started his newest tour.
His Purpose World Tour started about a month ago in Seattle, Washington and will travel throughout Europe and end in November.
I had the chance to attend his Salt Lake City, Utah concert this past weekend, and what a night; his concert is something that will never be forgotten.
The setlist itself is amazing- it highlights Bieber’s newest album titled Purpose with singles “Sorry”, “What Do You Mean?”, and “Love Yourself”, alongside some classic hits like “Baby” and “Boyfriend”. He opened with “Mark My Words” and gradually appeared onstage while rising from the floor inside a neon glass box- fans in the arena went wild! (and let’s get real- I went wild)
Throughout the entire night, Justin Bieber had amazing effects and lighting for every song. Backup dancers would pop out from underneath the stage, fireworks would spark, and the singer would get lifted up every so often on rising platforms. During “Company” , his newest single, a trampoline (hanging from the ceiling) lowered and the entire cast, including Bieber, performed a dance number. Who’s ever had a dance number on a trampoline before?! (personally my favorite performance from the entire concert)
Justin Bieber didn’t just sing- he performed dance routines, a drum solo, and played his guitar for some of his songs, including “Love Yourself”. No wonder he would end up out of breath at the end of almost every song!
Overall, Justin Bieber’s Purpose World Tour was an incredible performance, by the artist and his team of dancers. Haven’t found a pair of tickets to his concert yet? Look up his concert dates here. Listen to his setlist below, and tweet us @CelebMix what song of Bieber’s is your favorite!
