Sean Milliken [My 600 lb-life] death, weight loss, parents, biography.

Sean Milliken was from Cameron Park, California, and weighed about 1003 pounds. He was the largest participant in the reality show, “My 600-lb Life.”

Sean Milliken Early life and Weight Gain

The largest participant in the show was a food lover from a very young age. Many times, obese people tend to gain excessive weight due to their habits, cravings, and sometimes by the bad influence and support of their loved ones. In Sean’s case, it was caused by tumultuous childhood.

He had a difficult relationship with his dad, Matt Milliken. Moreover, his parents divorced when he was only 10 years old. It led him to think he was the reason for the separation.

To deal with the hard feelings and make himself better Sean began to depend on food. As he grew his weight ballooned. He lived with his mother Renee who take care of everything.

At the age of 26, Sean weighed 919 pounds unable to move out of the bead. Thus, seeking help, he and his mother made a short trip from California to Texas to meet Dr. Now.

Sean first debuted in “My 600-lb Life” in 2016 and was the largest participant on the show to date. His initial weight was 919.1 lbs. In the hospital, Sean was kept under a strict diet and was cut down to 800 calories a day.

Instead of going down in a few months his weight peaked to 1003 pounds. Some of the blame for weight gain could as well go to his mother who did not confront her son from ordering and eating junk foods.

To have surgery Sean had to go below 637 lbs. At this stage, it was a Hercules task. Nevertheless, with great determination and help from a psychiatrist, Sean achieved 636 lbs.

Then on he had successful bypass surgery. After rehabilitation, Sean weighed 582 lbs which was 420 lbs down from his peak weight. In 12 months with Dr. Now, his final weight was 548 lbs.

How did we lose Sean Milliken, cause of death?

After surgery sean struggled to keep up with the diet and physical therapy. His weight fluctuated continuously, and it was increasing rather than decreasing.

Also his mother Renne passed away on Feb 17, 2017, from kidney failure. As Sean was by himself, proper care and precautions on a diet were not seriously taken.

It led Sean to gain more weight and deteriorated health. Sean visited Dr. Now several times. At last, Dr. Now shifted him to a facility center, for proper medication. Nearly, after two weeks, Sean Milliken passed away.

Sean passed away at the age of 29 on February 17, 2019, due to complications from the infection which lead to a heart attack. This death marks another cast tragedy from “My 600-lb Life.” Lisa Fleming, Robert Buchel, James L.B Bonner, Henry Foots who were also the participant in the show preceded in the death.
